Day 6

Everybody knows plants need sunlight to grow, so how are plants able to grow in caves? There is minimal sunlight in caves and the only place it can be found is in the beginning of the cave called the twighlight zone. It is easy for moss to grow in the beginning of caves because of their cool and moist atmosphere, the deeper into the cave you go the more constant the humidity becomes. Moss faces the sunlight on the rocks which is usually facing the entrance as seen below.
